Take THAT, Pooh!
The US has previously accused China of genocide towards the Uighur muslims. Now, Congress has passed a bill, by an overwhelming majority, to prohibit imports from the Xinjiang region produced with forced labour.
Some companies have already been working to remove Xinjiang's dirty goods from their supply chains. Others that have been dragging their feet—such as Nike, Apple, and Coca-Cola—will have no option but to follow suit.
This is splendid news. I wonder if it applies to companies donating money to the local CCP though? (thinking)
