My favourite DCEU actress, Margot Robbie, has three new films scheduled for release, two of which are anticipated for next year, one of which is entitled Barbie. Categorising it under adventure, comedy, and fantasy, IMDb summarises the storyline succinctly…to put it mildly.
Barbie lives in Barbie Land and then a story happens.

Admittedly, since Barbie is still in post-production, these notes are almost certainly from the studio. I'm not sure whether they're tongue-in-cheek or disdainful though. It could go either way.
Unfortunately, Aqua's seminal Barbie Girl won't appear on the soundtrack; Mattel remains butthurt after being smacked down in a copyright infringement lawsuit, even two decades later. Nevertheless, it's a missed opportunity for Warner Bros; it could've lent much needed gravitas to the vapidity.
