I think I've soiled myself

Across the panderverse

All the diversities: (L–R) diverse Stan; diverse Kyle; diverse Cartman; and diverse Kenny.

The latest instalment of South Park has dropped to streaming on Paramount+. Unfortunately for me at least, anything streamed on Paramount+ may as well be streamed on the moon. There are online reviews, however, and even my viewing options stretch that far.

In Joining the Panderverse, Trey Parker and Matt Stone take a stick to whack Disney over forcing diversity politics into entertainment, amongst other targets. It's hardly a problem exclusive to the House of Mouse, but they have been front and centre in leading the whole pandering for DEI/ESG credits farce. So there's that.

And diverse female Kenny is kinda hot.*

Speaking of attractive cartoon characters, in Red Dwarf (s3e1, Backwards), Lister and Cat discuss their desire for Wilma Flintstone. Personally, I always rated Betty Rubble over Wilma, which made Cat's remark sting all the more: Well, I would go with Betty…but I'd be thinking of Wilma. Them's fightin' words; and if it weren't for the fact he's a fictional character himself, I'd kick the bastard's arse, in defence of Betty's honour.

* From the clips I've seen, her obsession with Tammy Mullins' knockers suggests she may bat for the other team, hence no need for her to be black or disabled. It would certainly fit in with the Put a chick in it, and make her gay! running gag.

The scene: A restaurant. Vivaldi's Four Seasons plays in the background. Kathleen Kennedy Kartman sits alone at a table.

  • Waiter: There you are Miss Kennedy, the linguine and clam sauce.
  • Kennedy Kartman: Uh excuse me? I believe I asked you to put a chick in this, and make her gay?
  • Waiter: Ah, yes the chef was a little confused what you meant by that.
  • KK: IT MEANS PUT A CHICK IN THE LINGUINE, AND MAKE HER FUCKING GAY!
  • KK: [turning towards the retreating waiter] AND I WANT IT LAME!
