Bemused
Apparently, and I say apparently
because I didn't know of this until just now, a big-screen film adaptation of The Lone Ranger is in the planning. This doesn't bemuse me as such, not even that they've got Johnny Depp to play Tonto when there are a raft of perfectly capable Indian native American actors who could play the part.
No, what bemuses me is the fact that the damned thing was slated to cost $250M!
How on earth can a film about the masked avenger and his trusty sidekick cost two hundred and fifty million drinking tokens?
Jerry Bruckheimer had been lined up to produce the film
