Fly from home

British Airways has announced plans to make hybrid working a permanent feature of their business.

"The global pandemic has shown us that many of our colleagues enjoy working remotely and want to continue, and this has accelerated our approach to offering more agile and flexible ways of working. "Our aim is to find a hybrid working model that suits our business, blending the best of office and remote working for our people."

Presumably, this new working practice doesn't apply to their aircrews, who've always worked remotely, never from home.

But I was more taken by the revelation that BA has a director of people. Presumably, even the mouth-breathers in the world of HR have woken up to what a shitty reputation HR has. There's hope yet!
