Most of it's boring

Hair today, gone tomorrow (sad)

Another day, another solicitation from a pond-dwelling, vanity, science publisher.

Today, it's on behalf of the Journal of Regenerative Medicine & Biology Research. Strange, many garbage-tier journals have grandiose titles that include International or Global, so this one's almost self-deprecating in comparison.

Dear Doctor, Greetings! Our panel of editorial board, having read your recently published articles with the opinion that it would have immense impact on aspiring healthcare professionals and your research interests are in consonance with the scope of our Journal of Regenerative Medicine & Biology Research Your eminence and authority in this field of regenerative research would add immense value to our upcoming issue of the journal. Therefore, we would like to know if you can associate with us by submitting your upcoming research. Kind regards, Ashley Brown | Scientific Managing Editor Journal of Regenerative Medicine & Biology Research

Only $159? Wow, that's a freakin' bargain! But, although the offer's tempting, I simply cannot understand what their editorial board sees in the relevance of my recently published articles to the field of regenerative medicine. Unless they're referring to my research into hair loss, which is at an early stage. I'm losing it well enough, but I haven't yet achieved regeneration.

I think I'll hold back my submission to their esteemed journal until such time as my work is successfully completed.

If you thought that the crappy English in Ashley Brown's message was a one-off, this is how the shitheads describe themselves on their website.

Athenaeum Scientific Publishers is an internationally peer-reviewed publishing group that is indulged in publishing original articles with an emphasis on latest research findings. Athenaeum Scientific Publishers aspires to bring eminent research information over the globe into light and intends to build an efficient platform for the researchers throughout the world.

Athenaeum Scientific Publishers

Reading between the lines, it's clear that their main aspiration is to fleece credulous researchers whose work isn't of a high-enough standard for publication in a reliable journal. And, thus, the quality of science for future generations is eroded for profit.
