I chain, I sawed, I conquered

The manufacturer is STIHL, not STIHL.

I've a long-held passion for chainsaws. Oh yes, indeed. And I'm obviously not alone. This video, from Triple L Rustic Designs, has received 12 million views in a month! Yet they only have 276K subscribers. Wow! Who'd've figured? (shock)

The comments section was rife with viewers extolling the capabilities of the Stihl MS 881, the world's most powerful chainsaw.

Oh, c'mon, who am I kidding? The comments were alive with appreciation for a moderately hot chick in skin-tight pants. The chainsaw may have been a bonus for them, or completely irrelevant. Dunno. (shrug)

Anyway, the point of this post was not to focus on Zoe's assets. Even though they feature prominently in many of the channel's videos and thumbnails. I really cannot imagine why. (thinking)

No, the point of this post is to be a smart-arse, and take the piss on the interwebz. What more do you need?

After firing up the 'saw, our intrepid 'sawer observed that it wasn't cutting. The store had installed the bar upside-down, and the chain backwards. This meant that, not only was the chain running in reverse, but the manufacturer's logo on the bar was also upside-down.

A chainsaw's bar and chain can be fitted independently. So, one being wrong doesn't imply that the other is too. Nevertheless, and perhaps it's just my OCD, that upside-down logo bothered me when watching the video. I would certainly have fixed it immediately and, in so doing, possibly I'd have noticed the chain problem. Possibly. That is if I knew what I was doing—which is a big if, and never to be assumed.

After flipping the bar and chain together, not only did the chainsaw saw, but the manufacturer's logo was presented correctly. Everybody wins! (thumbup)

Now, back to those assets…(whistling)
