And it's come to this

It makes a change from sexual assault

A Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with murder, after shooting a man following a chase last September.

Mr Kaba, who was unarmed, was being followed by several police vehicles in Streatham Hill before he turned into Kirkstall Gardens, where he was blocked by a marked car.

The droid doesn't explain what the victim had allegedly done to deserve being chased by several police vehicles, with another lying in wait to block his escape. It must've been something more serious than shoplifting.

The circumstances leading to the shooting seem not to be being reported now, but were back at around the time.

It later emerged that the Audi the 24-year-old was driving, which did not belong to him, had been linked by police to a firearms incident the previous day.

While the droid, now identified as Jess Warren, stated the victim was being followed by several police vehicles, which sounds like a major chase scene, both Andre Rhoden-Paul and, earlier, Harry Low and Greg McKenzie report the victim was being followed by an unmarked police car with no lights or sirens. I'm sure it all makes sense somewhere, and it'll all come out in the wash.
