Oh dear. The lack of creativity in TV production is further accentuated when Frasier returns after an almost twenty-year hiatus. Kelsey Grammar confirmed the revival, saying I gleefully anticipate sharing the next chapter in the continuing journey of Dr Frasier Crane.
I'm sure he does. And I'm equally sure that gleefully anticipating the pay cheque has absolutely nothing to do with it. Oh no, not at all! (rolleyes)
It's unclear whether any other surviving members of the cast will rejoin the show. But, given that John Mahoney died in 2018, and his role was pivotal to some of the best scenes in the original series, it does make me wonder how well this is going to work.
But it's easier than actually doing anything creative and challenging.
