Old-fashioned communications
Jacob Rees-Mogg, UK Cabinet minister for Brexit Opportunities and Government Efficiency,* is upsetting the peons. He's been leaving little notes on the desks of civil servants who have yet to return to the office, stating: Sorry you were out when I visited. I look forward to seeing you in the office very soon.
Why the hell doesn't he just send an email?
They won't be able to read your little billets-doux, Jake, because they're not in the office. And, by the time they get to read them, they'll already be back at their desks. Duh.
* In my dishonourable opinion, mash-ups of otherwise unrelated departments tend to reflect a general lack of shits given.
