The drains have backed up again

Quinntunessential

Quinn Elisaa returns to my inbox, this time on behalf of Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Two weeks ago, when she and Prissy Wiley last defecated into my mailbox, they were both using the same mailer From address: editor@joapmedtextoa.com.

This time, she's using editor@ijoapmedtext.com. Clearly, this is not due to it being for a different journal, otherwise she wouldn't be sharing with Prissy. I suspect that, like the hoes grinding away in the Belmont bordello, the Medtext molls change mailer addresses—but keep the same Reply-To address—in order to circumvent sender block lists. I cannot imagine what they expect to achieve by doing that.

In this case, variations on MEDTEXT plus A; I; J; O; and P appear to be the rule. If the molls are sharing their mailer address changes, then I fully expect a missive from Prissy to soon appear directly in my junk mail folder.

Until next time.

Another month, another mailer. This time, Quinn Elisaa's added T, ironically for the completely opposite purpose to spilling it.

The only thing of note here, and the reason that I'm posting this at all, is to note that Quinn's aware of my reputation and trustworthiness in the field of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics. This is deeply gratifying, especially since I've never been anywhere near a clinical setting, other than as a patient. Should I ever wish to pursue a career in the field, I wonder if I can use her as a character reference. (thinking)

I'm still expecting Prissy to land in my junk mail folder.

She's an irrepressable little minx, that Quinn Elisaa. She'd like to appreciate [my] contribution to the scientific community by publishing [my] precious work. Or is it more the case that she'd like to appreciate my contribution to Medtext Publications LLC by collecting my precious APC fees? (thinking)

She's sure that my quality articles will raise the standards of her webcomic. Which begs the question: what academic or researcher wants to publish in a title that can only be improved by their submission? Yes, I realise that all quality journals of standing achieve that by the consorted contributions of excellent works. But none of them beg for it.

This may be the last I hear of JCPT, but not of Quinn. (grumpy)

American Journal of Surgical Techniques and Case Reports

It took her a week, but Prissy came through in the end, using Quinn Elisaa's—or Elisaa Quinn's—new fake mailer address. And, yes, I found this in my junk mail folder, not my inbox!

According to her: I tried several times, but there is no response from your side, so that i would like to contact you again!! I doubt that she'll take the hint. (no)

The Clinical Ophthalmologist Journal

Rinse and repeat. Quinn Elisaa returns to my inbox with another fake mailer address for The Clinical Ophthalmologist Journal. First, it was editor@joapmedtextoa.com, then editor@ijoapmedtext.com, and now editor@medtextijoap.com.

I knew it wouldn't be long before I heard from Quinn again, despite unsubscribing from JCPT. Now she returns for The Clinical Ophthalmologist Journal. Using a different From header to last year's, it's the same as that used yesterday by Medtext's Celestia Grace. Hoes gotta stick together.

Her acknowledgement of my expertise in the webcomic's field suggests she needs the services of an ophthalmologist herself. Except, of course, this is the template shat out to her shitlist. Clearly, unsubscribing has no effect on her spamming on behalf of other comics in her purview; hell's teeth, it may have no effect at all!

So, I'll keep my needed response short and to the point.

Go to hell, you skeevy Indian harlot

Annals of Clinical Case Studies

A year has passed, and Quinn Elisa has returned. This time she's presumptuously awaiting my contribution to yet another dreary [cough] mega journal of clinical case reports.

I was tempted to reply to the effect of she shouldn't hold her breath or, better still, she should hold her breath. But the witticism would be lost on her. I could just consign it to electronic damnation without further ado. But, instead, I'm going to try that unsubscribe link as an experiment.

Her message was sent to my junk mail folder, not because its From header matched anything she's used previously, but simply because SpamAssassin awarded it a score of 7.4, against 4.0 required.

Right, it looks like this unsubscription is limited to the specific webcomic, not Medtext's general shitlist. And the cheeky fuckers offer the opportunity to subscribe again, despite me not having actually subscribed in the first instance. Hrmph! (angry)
