What's that smell?

Some of it, plus the rest of it...

…is all of it.*

Apropos nothing at all, I came across LegalEagle's explanation of why non-fungible tokens are legally problematic. Which comes as news to those of us who didn't realise they were, I guess. (shrug)

The video is about 45 minutes long, three-times longer than my attention span. And the subject is pretty dry and techy, with a soupçon of US law, because that's all LegalEagle knows. So I didn't make it all the way through. But I did get far enough—at 0:55!—to understand that our hero has identified three types of legal issues with NFT.

So, problems on the blockchain, and problems off the blockchain. Which together could be summarised as problems everywhere. Trust a lawyer to overcomplicate things. (rolleyes)

But at least I learned what fungible means…after I looked it up in the dictionary. So the time wasn't completely wasted after all. (thumbup)
