Just read the first sentence of Elisa Johnson's message. Does it make any sense to you? I've read it three times, and I'm none the wiser.

Again, the M, N, and F tokens were the same for each link, while the L token was unique in all cases except the unsubscribe link and the tracker image. Comparing the text and HTML versions, I think that L may relate to the link itself. For example:

The purpose of the F token now becomes clear, it's actually a switch that denotes plain text or HTML rendering. And that's about the limit of my email forensics.
