Most of it's boring

Blubber-bus

Brazilian fatties are sad that others aren't overjoyed when their journeys are disrupted by their lardaciousness. One blubber-butt recently got stuck in a turnstile on a bus for more than four hours, which must've thrilled her fellow passengers no end.

For another, the barrier to entry on public transport became too much:

Rayane Souza used to struggle taking the local bus in Vitória, the capital of the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo, 480km (300 miles) north of Rio de Janeiro. Aged 14, having got stuck in the bus turnstile yet again, and feeling the eyes of the rest of the passengers on her, she vowed never to take this form of public transport again.

That's the spirit Rayane! Everyone recognises the health benefits of exercise, and walking and cycling are great ways to ease yourself into a fitness regimen. So well done for taking this first step to a new you.

Unfortunately, Bob makes no mention of your progress with your current weight loss programme. Perhaps he only pretends to care.

Not quite. Instead, Ms Souza took to whinging activism in defence of lard-arses' rights. Presumably this change in her circumstances doesn't require the use of public transport.
