And it's come to this

Drugs and fishes

I was annoyed when I read Elisa Peretti's message. The first two paragraphs, in particular, really pissed me off. Does she really think that bothering eminent strangers, with constant begging mails, will encourage them to submit an article to her gutter journal, or give a damn about enhancing it?

And then it occurred to me, that this seemed familiar. Exactly the same wording was used by Sophia B, when she first contacted me. In fact, other than the journal name and timelines, the first five paragraphs are identical.

Normally, this would signify some in-house template. But Archives of Clinical Hypertension is shat out onto the internet by PeerTechz Publications, while Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences despoils the scientific knowledge base courtesy of SciRes Literature LLC. Although a bewildering array of domain names are used, almost as if to obfuscate the underlying company identities.

But, most of all, I'm at a loss as to what commonality lies between the disciplines of biomedical research and environmental sciences that justifies them sharing a journal. Other than piscine druggies loitering for a fix, that is.
