Fish out of water
First minister for Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, is at it again. The it
being not thinking things through to their logical conclusion. In the case of a transgender woman rapist being remanded in a women's prison, she seems to think that transgender women aren't a threat to real, biologically-relevant ones.
The first minister also stressed it was careful that people "do not, even inadvertently, suggest that trans women pose an inherent threat to women", adding: "Predatory men, as has always been the case, are the risk to women."
Yes Nicky, but some of those predatory men pretend to be trans women, in order to exploit loopholes in the law to their advantage. The only safe
transgender women are the ones who've gone full fat
with the dickectomy. Innit?
Or perhaps she's more concerned about the fee-fees and petulance of the T
and their allies, than the rights and safety of half of the whole frikkin' Scottish population. (SMH)
Fortunately, not all Scottish politicians are as dimwitted as the first minister. Unfortunately, they're the opposition, and therefore have no executive power.
Still, looking on the bright side, it appears even the BBC doesn't extend to a rapist who's decided he's a woman the same pretences that it affords your average straight-down-the-line, honest-to-god cock-chopper.
