I've paid little attention to the Kyle Rittenhouse case. It's too mired in US politics, race relations, and gun law to be of even passing interest. Besides, polarising
doesn't exacty float my boat.
Rittenhouse shot three men who attacked him, killing two, during BLM riots last year. So far, so drear. I mean, merkans, they love themselves their guns. And if you allow people to riot and bear arms, someone's gonna get hurt. Natch.
He's now been acquitted by a jury of all charges against him. I note this simply because of US president Joe Biden's disapproval, which brought joy to my heart:
He later released a statement saying: "While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken."
Any news that angers President 'Pa from his senile slumber, is good news.
