As SAG-AFTRA's luvvies continue to withhold their massive talent from the camera's loving gaze, everyone's favourite Latina grifter, Rachel Zegler, brought her own perspective to the pity party. In a video that went viral for all the wrong reasons, and saw her getting roasted for being entitled and out-of-touch, she declared:
If I'm gonna stand there eighteen hours in a dress of an iconic Disney princess, I deserve to be paid for every hour that it's streamed online.

She has quite the high opinion of herself and her value, for someone whose only cinematic releases to date—West Side Story and Shazam! Fury of the Gods—have been box office duds. And Snow White could see her claim a third strike—other than the one she's picketing in, that is…hohoho.

Neither the actors nor writers seem to acknowledge that other crew members don't receive residuals, just contracted payment, and probably work at least as hard as them. Furthermore, while they want a cut of the profits—which are used in part to bankroll future projects and cover losses on others—they don't share in the studios' financial risk, which in Zegler's case is currently running at an unenviable 100%. Another of SAG's members, Sarah Silverman, has bemoaned the fact that some members have been offered exemptions from downing tools, while she and others remain loyal to the cause. Personally, I can see absolutely no downside to Silverman not working; long may it continue.
A YouTube respondent noted that she was playing a sold out show in Chicago, seemingly causing one crackhead to bang his head against his keyboard:
