I know I promised not to. But two freakin' letters. Is it really that difficult?

And yet the editorial team managed to get it right for someone hailing from the Netherlands. WTF? Could it be that although they saved six letters, they still weren't willing to expend two of those alphabetic suckers elsewhere?
