What's that smell?

Catch me if you can!

Do Kwon, the man who pioneered the terraUSD and Luna crypto tokens, as well as the concept of the cryptocrash, has been arrested in Montenegro. Despite denying being in hiding, he never revealed his location and was travelling under a false identity. Which is just the sort of thing that anyone who isn't in hiding does. (rolleyes)

Wanted in both the US and South Korea for fraud and violation of capital market rules; thought to have been in Serbia; and arrested in a country that has no extradition treaties with either of those that wish to have a chat with him, Mr Kwon is, according to Montenegro's interior minister Filip Adzic: one of the world's most wanted fugitives. Although that could just be him bigging up their coup.

Nevertheless, with all that high-adrenaline globe-trotting going on, it's not surprising that it took three of the BBC's crack bloodhounds, with their noses to the ground in Singapore; Belgrade; and London, to relay these events to us. At a total article length of 2,543 words, that's 848 words each. Bloody good show! (thumbup)
