Dour Don

…but seems to have overdone the glum and underdone the hair.

For the first time in its history, The New Yorker magazine used a courtroom sketch on its cover. Presumably for shitz 'n' gigglz. A pr0n actress, revelling in the spotlight of free publicity, said of the proceedings against an orange man:

Stormy Daniels says Donald Trump does not deserve to be jailed over the payment made to her which landed him in court this week on criminal charges. "I don't think that his crimes against me are worthy of incarceration," the adult film actress told Piers Morgan in her first interview since the hearing.

Tom Geoghegan, BBC News

I don't know whether the problem is one of Ms Daniels' reasoning, or Mr Geoghegan's reporting, but what Ms Daniels thinks is of little concern. As far as I understand it, he hasn't really committed a crime against her of much, if any, concern.

Weightier matters involve people with either a fiscal or political axe to grind. And they tend not to be so benevolent.
