Three-faced Don
Donald Trump's appearance in a Miami federal court gave three court sketch artists the opportunity to flex their pastels. Bill Hennessy's work has been criticised as making the subject look far younger and trimmer than he really is
, but he seemed unfazed by the backlash.
Good for him! Personally, I think his effort is the best of the lot, being the most lifelike, albeit a little pale. But hardly paler than Elizabeth Williams', which to me is the most artistic. Jane Rosenberg's likeness of the former golfer-in-chief looks more like a jaundiced troll, which is only partially accurate.
I can't say I'm a fan of Rosenberg's courtroom style. Her images appear to be the least natural and most cartoonish.
