This is my truth

Bada Bing, bada boom

Tank Man and tanks Jeff Widener/AP (5 June, 1989)
Sheesh! You wait an hour for a tank, then four come along at once.

Tank Man was an iconic symbol of the 1989 student protests in Tiananmen Square. A lone, unidentified man stood in front of a column of Chinese PLA tanks, only moving as the lead tank tried to manoeuvre around him, to once again block its path. China has censored all reference to this protest within the country. The L in PLA is as ironic as Tank Man is iconic.

During the recent anniversary of the protests, Microsoft inadvertently blocked all results showing images of Tank Man from its Bing search engine. Not just in China, but also in countries such as the US and UK. The company blamed human error for the occurrence.

As far as I'm concerned, the human error here comes from anyone actually using Bing in the first place. It's a bloody stupid name for a search engine. Hrmph!
